join Intel. We are seeking highly motivated and qualified Driver
Validation Engineering Manager to join our world class Ethernet
Product Group (EPG) under Connectivity Group. We assure and deliver
leadership Ethernet products that delight our customers with
best-in-class performance, quality, and support. You will join a
best-in-class validation team relentlessly driving the highest
quality of EPG products with the most optimal cost via continuous
improvement, learning and product mindset.
In
this role, you will manage and guide a group of validation
engineers. Oversee the Atlanta site for EPG-SW Validation team who
are responsible for the creation of test strategy, test plans, test
cases (manual and automated) for our ethernet products. Work with
validation program manager to develop sounded execution plan and
track status. Develop overall validation strategy on his/her domain
based on the global strategy from technical program office. Manage
and track validation schedule, cost and capacity for a specific
domain. Implement common validation methodology and tools from
validation technical
office.
You
will also oversee validation development across the lifecycle,
including requirements gathering, design, developing, debugging,
validating, optimization, customer engagement. Provides technical
guidance and ensures that sound engineering practices are followed.
Provides direction and goals to the group and interacts with
stakeholders. Sets priorities for the team, achieves results across
boundaries, ensures an inclusive work environment, develops
employees, and manages
performance.
Qualifications
Candidates
must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Requirements listed
below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant
job experience, internship experiences and or
schoolwork/classes/class
projects and or research.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of
experience in network driver or software QA/validation area and
3+ years' experience as manager
-
9+ years of experience in software development and
validation process/methodology, demonstrated leadership in as
manager, and willing to work effectively both within team and to
resolve issues.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or
equivalent.
- 9+ years of experience in
5G architecture (e.g. vRAN, base station, radio unit, distribute
unit, central unit), Ethernet technologies (e.g. Vlan, Vxlan, QinQ,
Switch, ADQ, Vport...etc),
- 9+ years of
experience in DPDK/Packet Processing, PTP/SyncE, Virtualization,
SR-IOV, RoutinL2 - L4 Protocol, TCP/IP,
UDP

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
