We are looking for an Ecommerce Senior Manager, Marketplace to be responsible for the launch and growth of PCH’s new marketplace. This will include management of the full suite of PCH’s e-commerce merchandising offering, including in-house, affiliate and 3rd party offers.

The Senior Manager will be expected to cultivate relationships with affiliate platforms and partners, including the negotiation of commissions and bounties. In addition, this role will be fully responsible for the day to day communication of marketing strategies across departments, including UI/Dev., Marketing Operations, Creative and Legal teams. In addition, this role will be responsible for the financial planning and reporting of program performance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Launch and lead efforts to scale our new eCommerce marketplace, focusing on expansion across affiliate partners and integration of drop ship and other 3rd party deals to significantly expand our merchandise offering to our customers
  • Understand price and promotional mix strategies to maximize new customer conversion and drive loyalty across current customer base
  • Cultivate and own relationships with affiliate platforms and partners – from Skimlinks to Amazon to large retailers, DTC brands and other direct relationships – including negotiating commissions and bounties
  • Determine what verticals, search keywords, web graphics, seasonal communication, reviews and topics PCH properties are best positioned to dominate in the affiliate arena, and where and how affiliate ties to PCH’s existing e-commerce and performance advertising businesses
  • Work closely with product, design and editorial to define user experiences and content. Communicate marketing strategies across departments, including UI/Dev., Marketing Operations, Creative & Legal teams.

Required skills, experience & qualifications:


  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Previous Media, Retail or E-commerce experience required
  • Built/managed affiliate and/or marketplace commerce business (content/media company a plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Marketing
  • Higher education is a plus
  • Digital Marketing experience is a plus
  • Highly analytical and performance-driven
  • Passionate about the customer experience
  • Ability to interact with executive management
  • Data driven decision making and strong results orientation
  • Must have the ability to think strategically and to conceptualize and implement new ideas
  • Excellent cross functional coordination and project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal functional groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
