As a member of the Circuits Enabling Design Automation team in the Intel Optane Group, you will be part of a team that provides custom CAD support for next generation Optane Pmem memory controllers.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support and debug for front-end/rtl environment tools and flows.
- Develop tool documentation and train team on new tools/flows.
- Work closely with IP team to listen, understand, and develop cad solutions for any technical problems.
- Modify existing processes to help improve overall work efficiency.
- Work closely with SOC team to ensure IP team is aligned with any SOC TFM requirements/changes.
- Ensure SOC team is aware of any special TFM requirements from the IP team.

Qualifications
Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Physical Sciences, Electrical engineering or related field.
- 6+ months of
experience in the
following
- Scripting (tools: Perl and/or Python, csh/bash)
- Synopsys tools (VCS/Verdi)
Preferred Qualifications:
- RTL (Verilog) and verification techniques.
- Experience in expressing technical concepts in verbal and written forms.

$84,060.00-$126,320.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
