Come join PESG as an EDA Tools Software Engineer! The EDA Tools Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, PDK design components, and/or methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and end to end testing of the software tools.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 1+ years experience OR a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and:

• ASIC design

• Cadence tools

• RTL to layout design completion flow

Preferred Qualifications

• Synopsys tools

• Design, deploy and test tools efficiency to utilize in achieving design goals and collaborate with design teams on methodology development

• CAD tools , such as Fusion Compiler (Synopsys) or Innovus/Genus (Cadence)

• Apply design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality
