ADP is hiring a Strategic Initiatives, Efficiency & Sales Growth Strategy Planning (Team Leader).  In this position, you'll be focused on driving strategy efforts to drive growth in our business through internal partnerships, process improvements and projects. This role also identifies efficiency improvements and develops an approach/strategy to drive those improvements across the business. Responsible for successful planning, coordinating, and implementation of process documentation and projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished. Includes developing, revising and implementation of business requirements/process documents for the business unit's initiatives and/or projects. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required since this position serves as a liaison among various parts of ADP in order to gather, document and analyze business requirements, participate in the development of project plans and implement new programs and products. Provides continual communication on the status of key activities related to the role with senior leaders, partners, and other parts of ADP to ensure effective support and strategy is being provided. While working with others to analyzes abilities and knowledge to determine process gaps, training needs, tools needs, etc. to drive improved strategic results. Participates in the decision-making process within the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with other ADP business units: Serves as a liaison with other business partners in order to gather, analyze and develop strategies beneficial to all key stakeholders. Builds and fosters effective relationships, with emphasis on inspiring and positively influencing team members. Negotiate favorable solutions internally and/or externally for ADP and clients while maintaining stakeholder business relationships. Effectively communicate with all business partners ensuring appropriate and timely updates to any potentially impacted group or individual.
  • Communications: Ability to communicate complex information and key messages to all key stakeholders including Senior Leaders, internal partners, clients/prospects and all levels of the organization. Can effectively work with people at all levels across the organization.
  • Results Driven: Solid understanding of business goals and objectives and the ability to define key actions needed to drive those results.
  • Prepare and Deliver Presentations: Ability to independently prepare and deliver presentations for prospects, clients, business partners, and senior ADP leaders. Represent ADP as a subject matter expert in the area of ACA compliance.
  • Analytics: Effectively strategizing with internal partners on the best approach and plan for closing new sales opportunities and retaining existing clients. Accurate and timely tracking of deal status/results critical.
  • Researches, gathers and documents user requirements and seeks input for requested projects and process documentation. May be done by conducting interviews of subject matter experts (SME's), including internal partners, clients and ADP associates from various business units. Identifies business needs and participates as a key contributor in the implementation of new or revised ADP products, programs, processes and tools.
  • May serve as project lead for team on leading and implementing processes, programs, technology. Surfaces needs/improvements to appropriate parties.
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of applicable products, processes and systems.
  • Collaborates with various groups to analyze and identify business needs. Participates in the development of plans, processes, etc. to address any needs.
  • Ability to independently conduct presentations and overviews. Represents ADP as a subject matter expert in assigned areas.
  • Other Duties: Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Participate in task forces, strategic initiatives, stretch assignments and collaboration opportunities, as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of related experience in driving strategy efforts or similar type of experience

  • Excellent research skills

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
  • Project Management experience; broad knowledge of PM processes and project life cycle methodologies
