What Your Job Will Be Like:



We are seeking a dedicated experienced Electrical Assembly / Electronic Technologist to join our dynamic team. Are you a sharp person who can handle a wide variety of roles and responsibilities in a collaborative work environment? Join our electronics team to support supporting engineering efforts across all phases of projects spanning from conceptual-design studies to assembly, build, and test!



On any given day, you may be called on to:• Collaborate with design engineers, component and product engineers, systems integration and test teams, environmental test teams, and configuration management• Independently draft test and assembly procedures, set up and execute module testing• Assemble flight quality PCBs• Run established testing on assembled circuit boards in preparation for next-level assembly







This is an opportunity to become involved in a high visibility program area that manages the full range of Synthetic Aperture RADAR manufacture, testing, and delivery. Improved design, development, realization, reliability, producibility and quality are all major thrusts of our program.



Qualifications We Require:



• High school diploma plus three or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience• Can obtain a DOE Q clearance



Qualifications We Desire:



• High school diploma plus five or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience using test equipment, i.e. voltmeter, frequency counter, power meter, oscilloscope, etc.• Experience in handling electronics in lab at piece-part level• Experience in assembling components onto a PCB• Proven experience with circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting• Experience with configuration management of parts and hardware assemblies• Experience with thermal cycling equipment and testing• Possess a strong dedication to positive teaming dynamic, strong written and verbal skills, detail oriented with a keen focus on customer service• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment with high initiative and collaboration• Ability to work in a dynamic atmosphere with changing priorities• Current and active DOE "Q" security clearance



About Our Team:



Radar ISR Analysis & Applications Department (05344) operates within the “Radar Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (Radar ISR)” business area to develop and field high-performance synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems, and to support various Nuclear Weapon (NW), National Security programs (NSP), homeland security, and interagency programs and R&D initiatives. The department specializes in electromagnetic design, simulation, analysis, and testing activities, including antenna/radar design and development, radar-cross-section analysis, and RF systems engineering.

Security Clearance:
