Electrical Engineer

Growing technology manufacturer based in the Nashville, TN area seeks electrical engineer for newly created position. Job Summary: Using engineering principles and design software, helps to design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.

Job Duties: Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Directs and coordinates manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements. Inspects completed installations and observes operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.  

Experience and Education: Requires a bachelor's degree. Prefers electrical engineers with BSEE degrees but will consider others if they have electrical experience.  Experience with SolidWorks.

Preference will be given to local candidates since there is no relocation assistance available for this position.
