As the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Business Unit within Intel, we will continue drive the future of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. PSG continues to deliver industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers, and to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, the Platform Validation Engineering Electrical Validation (PVE EV) team is seeking a senior RF Electrical Validation Engineer to join our team.

The PVE EV team is responsible for developing high performance RF IP implemented in FPGA applications to a variety of state of the art programs.

As a senior RF Electrical Validation Engineer, you will participate and lead development through the entire life cycle of Radio Frequency intellectual property RF program engineering, performance validation, productization, and sustaining engineering for a variety of RF applications. You will also be responsible for driving validation infrastructure development, design for test development (DFT), board requirements, and validation methodologies.


You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience working with the end-2-end post silicon electrical validation strategy for a given product at Silicon and platform level.

  • 3+ years' experience of working closely with Circuit designers and Platform architects.

  • 3+ years' experience with methodologies/strategies for RF electrical validation.

  • 3+ years' experience with RF/IO Post Silicon Electrical validation and measurement infrastructure.

  • 3 + years' experience in RF/IO post silicon validation automation and scripting (ie Python, C++).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Board Design.

  • Experience reading and understanding schematic designs.

  • Experience in SoC/ASIC/FPGA RTL design and validation.

  • Understanding of FPGA design flow synthesis, place route.
