This position is unique. Our company seeks an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Manager with a strong background in leading engineers who are skilled in electrical, electronic, robotic or other such mechanized instruments, equipment or systems.
We are hiring for 2 different roles needing the same skills, one in Flower Mound, TX and the other in West Chester, PA.
This individual will:
- project plan for various development projects.
- manage team of 5-10 engineers.
- identify opportunities of innovation and lead a team of engineers to implement new solutions.
- primary technical interface to customer.
- optimize test systems and test/repair processes in an operation that involves electrical, mechanical & software components.
- establish preventative maintenance schedules for engineers.
- utilize KPIs to monitor the performance of test systems.
- lead a dynamic team of Mechanical, Software, and Robotics Engineers, in a fast paced environment with an ever changing set of businesses and facilities to support.
- be a high-energy, mentor who enjoys a hands-on work environment.
- analyze technical requirements coming from customers associated with test systems and products.
- Work with engineers to produce high quality documentation including test procedures, schematics, flowcharts, and project status reports, that is clearly understandable by internal and external personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Clear discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 8+ years overall experience.
- At least 3+ years of Engineering Management
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of science is required, Master’s is preferred.
Nice-To-Have skills:
- Some years’ experience with complex manufacturing test engineering.
- Experience with Audio, Video output automated testing is a Plus
- Experience in Consumer Electronic product testing is a plus
- Experience in testing electronics in Reverse Logistics applications is preferred
- Telecommunications technical experience and overall understanding preferred.
