What You’ll Do

The Munchery Email Marketing Specialist will be an integral member of our CRM team, and a key driver of our owned channel execution and optimization across the customer lifecycle. This individual will work on a wide array of communication methods including email, push notifications, automated triggered direct mail, landing page development and much more! This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email and push notification campaigns for the business. Additional responsibilities include HTML asset creation, setting up and launching campaigns, developing testing plans and campaign reporting. You will help create a fully integrated customer lifecycle marketing program by building and optimizing our CRM channel driven campaigns by partnering with individuals across the business and leveraging email best practices.

  • Develop and create HTML based-assets, with a core focus on email, for various marketing campaigns
  • Ownership of the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all email and push notification campaigns
  • Regular reporting on campaign performance and results
  • With the Senior Director of Marketing, develop test plans across owned channels to optimize programs across the customer lifecycle and customer segments
  • Develop landing pages for targeting marketing campaigns
  • Work with other marketing team members to iterate and optimize campaign executional processes

 

Requirements

 What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in an email marketing function, preferably in a B2C organization
  • Proven experience with various email deliverability tools and technologies
  • Strong ability to code HTML
  • Strong familiarity with Email CAN-SPAM laws and email best-practices
  • Background in owned channel management (email, SMS, push notifications)
  • Reporting on data-driven analysis to drive actionable, needle-moving results
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a “can-do” attitude and a test-and-learn mindset 

What Would be Great

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Culinary industry experience
  • B2C email marketing experience
