In Apple Legal and Global Security, inspiring and effective employee engagement and communication is considered a priority. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic communications coordinator to help support a growing team of communication, employee engagement, and training specialists. In this role you will be a copy editor, a project manager, a scheduler, and a web master. Your are highly organized and work well with individuals at all levels. You approach every project or task with a "how I can improve this process" attitude. You are positive and care deeply about an engaged and inclusive work environment!

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong writing and copy editing skills
  • Technologically proficient, master of spreadsheets and project plans
  • Web smart, ability to edit content in WordPress
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service
  • Superior planning, organization, and execution skills
  • Persuasive speaking and presentation skills
  • Experience managing vendors or key partners
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexible and creative problem solver
  • Demonstrated Keynote, Pages and, ideally, Photoshop skills
  • Good eye for design and aesthetics
  • Innovative and creative thinker
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage at all levels of an organization
  • Skilled at effectively managing and prioritizing critical issues or business critical situations
  • Willingness to embrace a variety of internal and external software applications with the ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment, playing multiple roles as needed
  • Relentless curiosity, and a passion for using storytelling to create experiences.
  • Ability to work independently, execute multiple tasks simultaneously, and cut through ambiguity
  • 2+ years of communications or project management experience, project coordination, event planning or admin experience in a fast-paced customer-focused environment

Description

Provide project management and communication support to a team of employee engagement and operations specialists
Work closely with engagement team to adapt programs to address the Global Security audience effectively
Work cross functionally to deliver marketing assets that will help drive traffic to various communications platforms.
Manage calendaring events
Maintain database and library of marketing assets
Identify new channels and techniques to deliver messages and move program forward
Regularly create and update content for internal websites and digital campaigns
Manage business team collaboration and knowledge management tools (WebEx, Slack, Box, Quip, etc)
Review and manage organizational budget
Maintain master editorial and events calendars
Help manage initiatives within the organization around mentorship, on-boarding, training, Inclusion and Diversity, events, etc.
Support LGS-wide communication efforts, such as all hands meetings, email communication, presentations and web content
Establish and maintain two-way channels to ensure employees are heard
Develop and run communication for event promotion, organization announcements, etc.

Education & Experience

BA/BA preferred or equivalent work experience
