Job Description

As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages.

If you are looking for a great opportunity that uses both your technical as well as communication/interpersonal skills, look no further.

As an emulation capacity operations manager on our team, you will own day to day management of Intel's multi-million-dollar emulator fleet.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with emulation users from many Intel teams to understand their capacity requests,
  • Review the available emulator hardware configurations, as well as utilization and latency indicators to determine multiple allocation options,
  • Work with the emulation users to determine which options would best meet their needs,
  • Perform technical debug to understand and fix issues impacting users, such as longer job latencies, etc.,
  • Drive innovative technical solutions to make our emulation fleet more efficient.
  • Utilize industry standard Emulation tools such as ZeBu, Palladium, Veloce, Strato, etc.

This is a highly interactive and exciting role that requires great customer skills. The candidate that possesses both skillsets and thrives in an interactive and social setting will excel at this opportunity.

This is a fantastic role to gain Intel wide exposure to various groups and programs, as well as to grow your communication and influencing skills.
