Engineer 4, Technical Research & Development — Comcast Cable Communications, LLC, Philadelphia, PA. 

Provide technical leadership within the Product Security & Privacy Development team responsible for providing tools and services that facilitate security development, remediate existing vulnerabilities, and prevent future vulnerabilities for Comcast Cybersecurity, TPX, and Comcast Cable; design, implement, and run enterprise-scale, highly-reliable authentication, authorization, and secret management tools using C, C++, or Golang in an Agile, DevSecOps environment; collaborate with other team members to contribute code within an Agile development framework; utilize leading-edge technologies and DevOps best practices within a security realm to develop, build, and operate high-assurance security tools for internal use; utilize Golang, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), and Agile Development strategies to develop cybersecurity architecture and build security tools; develop, maintain, and perform test automation on internet-security-focused tools utilizing DevSecOps best practices and following industry and Comcast’s defined standards, methods, and procedures; and mentor and guide junior-level engineers on best practices, procedures, and techniques.

Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and six (6) months of post-Bachelor’s experience designing, implementing, and running authentication tools using C and C++ in a DevSecOps environment.
