In Xe Architecture and IP Engineering (XAE) our mission is to deliver best in class Graphics, Compute, Multi-Media and Display IP on schedule with maniacal focus on performance per watt and performance per area with state of art features covering client, gaming and data center market.

The Front-End-Tools, Flows and Methodology (FE-TFM) Team with in Xe IP Engineering is responsible for providing methodologies for Best-in-Class RTL development, IP Delivery, SoC Integration and execution and verification. The team develops and deploys these methodologies across all Graphics IP's.
We are looking for a candidate to join our team to in engineering compute operations.

This position will be responsible for:

• Design/validation of compute efficiency improvements and presenting progress to key stakeholders.

• Data-lifecycle governance.

• Quarterly forecasting.

• Support Intel customers by providing them appropriate services in a timely manner.

• Understanding the complementing High Performance Computing (HPC) Support Domains and Skills and work together to ensure a stable, performing, monitored and productive environment.

• Providing technical guidance to normal users and peers within HPC/IT.

• Understanding various server architectural blueprints, operating system build technologies, system patching, system management, auditing, automation, as well as server build processes.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and automation to improve and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in IS, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of school work or experience with:

- OR-

Master's degree in IS, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of school work or experience with:

• Solid expertise in Microsoft Office 365 suite

• Proficiency working on Microsoft Windows

• Knowledge or proficiency of Unix/Linux

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in Infrastructure and application configuration automation, monitoring, visualization using industry standard tools.

• Knowledge in Shell scripting: Perl, Python, Go, Ruby, etc.

• Experience in system administration scripting, performance tuning/scalability, troubleshooting.
