As an Engineer Technician within the EPG hardware labs, you will participate in many innovative projects, while applying your expertise in a fast paced technically driven environment. You will also be collaborating with Engineering Teams on cutting edge product development.
We work with remote development and validation teams for debug and system configuration; therefore, an understanding and willingness to work with a remote workforce model is vital. You'll be responsible for highly technical functional tasks in support of a variety of validation engineering activities.
In this role, your day will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you will be:
- Debugging Ethernet networking products
- Communicating effectively with internal customers
- Flexible in shifting and managing priorities
- Building, configuring, and testing platforms for validation and product development
- Installing operating systems and software applications
- Installing and configuring networks, KVMs and power distribution units
- Adhere to, ensure, and define best practices and processes
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of industry work experience performing installation, troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues in Windows and Linux OS environments.
- Experience with PC and server peripherals including; Ethernet, USB, PCIe, and Memory
- Experience with working in a lab environment
Preferred Qualifications
- AA degree
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Experience working in CPU/PCH/Ethernet validation lab environment
- Experience with deployment and usage models of VMware, and DPDK
- Experience with virtualization and related technologies
- Experience of updating firmware and drivers
