Job Description

GTRI’s Cooperative Education (“co-op”) program offers you extensive opportunities to participate in diverse scientific and technological endeavors, use state-of-the-art equipment and rapidly improve your technical and leadership skills. The program allows you to alternate three semesters of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school.

The Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) seeks co-op students in the Test Engineering Division (TEN) to start in spring 2020. TEN researches next generation Hardware in the Loop (HITL) test systems used to analyze and test emerging Electronic Warfare (EW) and Avionics systems that protect US and allied aircraft. These complex HITL systems use the latest hardware and software components and subsystems to replicate real-world engagements of EW systems under test with threat systems; this is critical for understanding and validating the performance of these systems. This broad range of tasking will provide a solid foundation for the student as a future systems designer. The student will work under the guidance of GTRI researchers performing one or more of the following activities
