This is an opportunity to join the rapidly growing Intel New Mexico team as a Probe Card Engineer for the Wafer Level Test production team.

As a Probe Card Engineer you will utilize your probe card expertise and creativity to sustain and resolve high volume manufacturing probe card issues for all product lines in F11x.

These responsibilities would include the design of new probe cards as well as updating of existing probe card designs for new product introductions.

You will also have the ability to own and, if necessary, select new metrology equipment for determining probe card health.

You will be able to develop strong relationships with your upstream and downstream customers to facilitate your work.

You will have the opportunity to partner with multiple equipment suppliers to design and manufacture new or updated probe cards. You have the opportunity to establish first of a kind probe card maintenance techniques and partner with technicians to create procedures for these techniques.

Hybrid work accommodations are available for this position. Please note that for the first 3-6 months, a majority of the time will be spent on site training and learning the people, process and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related.

  • 4+ years of experience in installation of automated machines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated probe card design experience

  • 2+ years of experience in documenting specifications and procedures for high volume manufacturing.
