The Operations Research Engineer will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and apply engineering, mathematical models, simulation, and optimization models to drive solutions to complex manufacturing and supply chain problems.
• Identify and solves highly complex problems in factory performance, loading, equipment performance, and decision science.
• Require a thorough understanding of the factory capacity supply chain to develop complex engineering models and apply them to identify and drive solutions.
• Build, develop, validate, and apply mathematically based decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization, and simulation models and tools.
• The applicant will be working closely with business users, analysts, and other developers on a small, agile development team to drive the appropriate business and technical solutions.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 5+ years of working experience on optimization modeling and programming
• 3+ years of experience in Operations Research, especially Linear Programming (LP), Mixed Integer Programming (MIP), Constraints Programming (CP)
• 3+ years of experience in commercial optimization/constraints programming tools such as ILOG CPLEX, Concert, OPL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in semiconductor manufacturing are highly preferred
• 3+ years of experience in programming in C# and LP/MIP solvers
