Individual will work as part of a team providing flight support; interpretation of surveillance systems products; O&M on aerostat avionics, acoustic sensors, ground sensors; operation of EO/IR sensor payloads, radar systems, military and telemetry radios. Conducts preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment, as well as O&M of aerostats and mooring systems in support of the Persistent Surveillance Systems - Tethered (PSS-T) program

Individual will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Network routers and switching systems, as well as associated computers and servers. Individual will be considered an Information Technology and Network Specialist.

Performs other duties as assigned

The physical demands of this position and the operational requirements of the equipment can be substantial. Position often requires working in extreme temperatures, at heights greater than 15 feet, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and working in confined spaces while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Individual may support rotations in the United States and OCONUS to include Southwest Asia.

This position is call-in casual, and by definition, the individual selected will work less than 1,000 hours within a 12 month period
Total compensation will vary upon rotation assignment

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

O&M of electronic equipment to include one or more of the following:
• IT Computer and Network Switching/Routing Systems
• Video Distribution Systems
• Navigation Systems
• Avionics systems
• Radio Communications Equipment
• Radar Systems
• RF Telemetry Systems
• EO/IR Gimbaled Camera Systems
• Fiber Optic Transmission Systems (analysis, splicing, termination)
• Electrical and Data Cable Terminations
• Test and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE)
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
Proficient with the MS Office Suite and all common Windows OS
Effective oral and written communications skills

Candidate must have a minimum 2 years hands-on aerostat operations and maintenance (O&M) experience

Desired skills
O&M of C4ISR systems
Cisco Certified Network Expert (CCIE)
Experience with RAID server admin, troubleshooting and repair
A+ Network + and Security+ CompTIA certifications
Photographic/Image interpretation
Experience/certifications in lead soldering

O&M of Electro-Mechanical equipment to include one or more of the following:
• Electrical Systems
• Hydraulic Systems
• Aerial Lift
• Forklift
• Industrial Generator Sets

Certifications and/or licensing with any of the aforementioned systems and/or equipment

Familiarity with military operations, acronyms, and military chain of command
