Test Technology Development is a central test technology research
and development group that develops leading edge low cost test
solutions to enable the full spectrum of our product portfolio. We
are seeking a talented candidate to join our System Test Core
Competency Group to work on the cutting edge technology to test the
high speed IO using advanced FPGA technologies to emulate the real
devices and/or develop tester infrastructure based on FPGA. This
position is looking for entry level as part of System Test Core
Competency Team within Sort Test Technology and Development
(STTD).
Your
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Performing the
research and development on testing high speed IO using
FPGA.
-Innovating disruptive
ideas, selecting IP, making proposal, defining and executing proof
of concepts (POC).
- Developing
and demonstrating production solutions in time to meet our product
roadmap testing requirements.
-
You will also work through other teams to deliver the complete
solutions including driving other team's development of FW, driver
and BIOS etc.
- You will manage
and drive project schedules and be capable of defining HSIO test
strategy across various products. You must be able to influence and
collaborate with teams in different geographies.
- You will need to support and
maintain existing FPGA-based HSIO test solutions or migrate
solutions from one generation to
another.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences .
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a MS degree with
6+ months of experience within Electrical Engineering or
Electrical and Computer Engineering.
6+ months of experience in the
following:
- Xilinx FPGA and/or Intel
FPGA tool/flow.
- Resolve FPGA issue during synthesis,
timing closure, place and route and lab bring-up.
- Run
and debug simulation RTL design with standalone simulator like
Synopsys VCS.
- RTL Logic
design/validation.
Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by September 2022.
Preferred
qualifications:
1+ years of
experience in the following:
- Computer
Architecture and high speed IO (PCIE, USB, memory, CSI or DP etc)
.
- Past IP validation.
- Signal integrity or
analogy PHY .

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
