We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to help support all aspects of physical production as part of our growing original film content efforts, both in-house and with our partners. This is an opportunity to join a production team that we are building from the ground up, working on premium content in collaboration with A-list talent. This position will report to the Film Production Executives and your responsibilities broadly includes supporting the team as they vet budgets and schedules, curate vendor and crew relations, from pre-production through delivery.
Key Qualifications
- Coordinate all projects in development and production for Feature movie content.
- Track and process approvals and production payments with business affairs, legal and finance.
- Act as liaison with production / crew and Apple legal / finance for start paperwork
- Share and speak to Apple production manual and guidelines in regards to both studio shows and Covid-19 protocols
- Ensure major milestones are met (e.g. budget lock, budget approval, kick off calls, deliverables, international filming activity, etc.)
- Coordinate kick-off calls within all Studio Departments for each individual project.
- Meet with show production managers, line producers and creative executives in budget and production meetings.
- Maintain accurate schedules, reports and tracking system for all Feature Projects.
- Act a liaison with producers and internal Studio Departments.
- May work with the People Department to set up trainings for crew.
- Manages the department schedule
Description
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Studio Feature Movie Production Coordinator and/or Production Office Coordinator
Demonstrated ability to effectively foster relationships.
Ability to build and manage department specific production schedules.
Thoughtful and innovate problem solver.
Maintains a calm composure under pressure.
Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
Software requirements: Microsoft Word and Excel, Movie Magic Budgeting, Movie Magic Scheduling, Final Draft and Scenechronize.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree preferred
