The Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) business office has an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst. ESSM is a dynamic and growing program with both production and development efforts spanning across missile and launcher businesses. The unique business model allows for international exposure with our international partners. 2021 planned revenue is expected to be ~$300M with a five year plan outlook of greater than $1.6B. Finance serves as a critical business partner by providing the analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results. The role will specifically support the ESSM Japan contracts.

Qualified candidate may telecommute at management discretion.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Must be able to obtain a DoD final secret clearance.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Estimate at Complete (EAC) preparation for assigned contracts
Reporting and analyzing weekly cost actuals and manpower charging details (name runs)
Frequent interaction with various program managers, functional leaders, and multiple layers of the organization will be required, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication and professional skills

Minimum Required Education, Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Business related field is required
At least 4 years finance/accounting work experience (2 years finance/accounting experience with a related Masters degree)
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Experience with developing EACs, budgets and forecasts including variance analyses
U.S. Citizenship

Highly Desired Skills:

Demonstrated experience with SAP Business Systems including Business Warehouse (BW), or other major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Advanced Excel Proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, sumifs, graphing)
Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and customer
Exceptional analytical ability
SAP Earned Value
Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment
Program Management Excellence (PMX) Tool Suite
