Apple is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Retail Finance team supporting worldwide Financial Planning and Analysis. The team serves as the hub of financial data for Apple Retail including both online and stores. From product launches to global economic fluctuations to single store level performance, this team has the unique ability to drive and communicate results in all aspects of the business

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a high performance and high growth organization
  • Inherent curiosity to connect dots, understand all facets of Apple Retail, and drive decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results in a demanding and quickly-changing environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results
  • Experience with data analytics/visualization software (e.g. Tableau), enterprise software systems (e.g. Essbase, Business Objects) and Excel is strongly preferred


Retail FP&A partners closely with the retail leadership team in the management of the Retail business. This role acts as a trusted leader who assists in a cross functional capacity to align financial and investment goals for Apple Retail worldwide. Additionally, the role serves a critical function connecting and communicating Apple Retail performance to the greater Apple finance organization.

Key responsibilities include:

Be the analytics lead and business-technical liaison for Apple's Stores and Online performance metrics
Provide critical thought leadership in the development of key reporting tools to drive business insights
Support the forecast and close process for Apple Retail management financials, including consolidation of revenue and costs, in depth analysis, and performance updates to key executives
Partner with Finance teams in each geography to identify business issues and implement strategic solutions
Be the lead analyst on ad hoc projects in support of annual strategic objectives

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
