Job Description

The Group:
As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, Intel is establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and a major provider of the US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally with a world-class IP including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric, and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs.

The Role:

Develops embedded software within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources, designs and implements reusable code, performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations. Job may require experience in system architecture and modeling, operating systems, device architecture, system integration, algorithm modeling, digital signal processing, and/or hardware design. Works with a variety of storage interface standards. Performs system level design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and/or digital signal processing.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering) or a Bachelors with 2 years of experience
  • Strong C language development skills
  • PC Architecture understanding (i.e., PCIe, BIOS and UEFI Firmware and bootloaders, Power Management etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SW/FW development skills across various programming languages, development environment and development methodologies include but not limited to: C/C++, Python, Agile, etc....
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills that translate to being a self starter and working effectively with a team.

This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement, and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today, starting with our existing foundry offerings. We are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
