We are Firmware Integration and Validation team part of SATG, we are responsible for build, test and releasing of IFWI (Integrated Firmware Image), BIOS/UEFI, Graphics modules for Intel Server, Client silicon products such as next generation Intel Core processor and Graphics programs.

We work closely with Internal silicon design teams, IP Ingredient and platform teams and are responsible for quality of IFWI, BIOS and other FWs. We validate and debugs software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ownership of validation execution for enablement of FW component flows and publish test plans based on program milestone.
• Support Sysdebug/debug engineers as required for issue replication, first level debugging capability on Payload failure detection, possible root-causes, inputs on must fixes to Sysdebug on-time to meet Program imperatives.
• Power On debugging using Python SV and handling dungeon mode work-life for silicon bring-up.
• Integration of various IP Firmware to generate Stable Silicon Operations and feature enablement.
• Find and submit defects with all Technical details, supporting data/logs for faster resolutions.
• Good experience on Design and Developing of test content for IP's and developing robust test cases and understanding of debug environment.
• Work with different stakeholders, represent the team in different forums, get technical understanding of deliverables and drive effective integration and release plan.
• Need to work with different firmware teams to generate BKMs for seamless integration.

Qualifications

Education Requirement

Candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or relevant engineering field.

Minimum Qualifications
5 to 7 years of direct industry experience with debugging expertise in Firmware, Graphics environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of BIOS/UEFI, Graphics environments and good validation mindset, execution and debug expertise on PSS, Post silicon environments is a plus.
Hands of debug experience and problem-solving skills and able to manage the stakeholders to drive closure of critical issues.
