The FP&A Manager Germany & Poland is the business partner responsible for supporting specific projects and assignments, provides data, summaries, reports and recommendations that provide the basis for management to recommend best practice and to determine appropriate courses of action

Responsibilities

  • Aid in development of financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, labor, and all other expenses to facilitate and support timely and definable planning and decision making
  • Lead the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for two countries
  • Create and maintain integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, and reports
  • Monthly analysis and review of month end close figures
  • Responsible for the preparation of information, analysis and recommendations for management
  • Create ad hoc reports using data from a variety of sources to answer questions posed from management
  • Work with a multi-location teams based in Germany and Poland (Kornwestheim and Warsaw)
  • Management responsibility of 2 employees based in Warsaw
  • Liaise with the FP&A Center of Excellence based in Barcelona

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required
  • Minimum five (5) plus years progressively responsible related experience is preferred
  • Experience and technical knowledge in financial planning, analysis and reporting as well as business partnering
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile technical data and prepare analytical reports
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in supervision of spreadsheet and database applications
  • Experience using Oracle and/or Hyperion preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills appropriate for all levels of an
    organization
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think independently and make effective decisions
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills, able to lead a team remotely among several locations
  • Management experience required
  • Experience with multi-locations team and center of excellence
  • Able to interact at all levels of the organization, including ExCom local meetings and presentations to senior management
  • Strong German and English skills required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
