Researches, designs, develops, and optimizes software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA).

• Develops and optimizes compilers, flows, assemblers, models, tools, runtimes, and/or firmwares that are closely coupled to FPGA silicon, IP, and boards, while leveraging strong knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, board design, semiconductor devices, and chip layout.

• Designs, develops, and optimizes software abstractions and frameworks for acceleration with the FPGA for domains such as deep learning, DSP algorithms, or data analytics. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 4 plus years of experience in C++ or another modern object-oriented programming language.

• 4 plus years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or higher.

• 10 plus years of experience in C++ software development.

• 5 plus years of experience developing Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.

• Experience as a technical lead on one major project, driving it from conception through customer delivery.
