 Job Title: Domain Specialist

Purpose of the Role:

Acting as enabler and facilitator on new Domains and Products; enhancing effective sales processes and representing the "center of the network" 


Individual accountabilities

  • Domain Expertise: Provide specific, relevant domain know-how in Time, Payroll, HCM, Connectivity & Benefits area driving sales success & excellence
  • Knowledge distributor: Consistently spread knowledge across organization (advisor role) and enable individuals (sales reps and BCs) to deliver a "One ADP" experience for all clients and prospects
  • Enablement and Education: Update and train Business Consultants, Sales Support Specialists, Field Sales and Inside Sales on latest solution capabilities, roadmap and features to effectively drive capability
  • Coordination and network: Activate key responsible (BCs) within country upon request/use network 

Shared accountabilities

  • With Sales: Ensure critical and complex tasks are given special attention, ensure push back on sales team to deliver on own responsibilities
  • With Product Development and Marketing: Maintain highest level of understanding and expertise in ADP offering of domain solution; jointly identify ADP unique selling points
  • With Finance: Define pricing models and communicate to Sales force
  • With Sales, BCs: Obtain internal business approvals for any non-standard requirements (e.g. related to Due diligence, Contract Support) 

Key requirements/capabilities 

  • Bridge knowledge gap between Product Development, Product Marketing & Sales, providing and having network of contacts across Domain Area within ADP
  • Enable and facilitate cooperation between stakeholders and conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas both internally (primarily) and externally
  • Stay up to date on new topics/domains/products to ensure knowledge awareness within organization and help Sales to "win it right & together"
  • Exceptional: Travel to Key Accounts for sales pitches to provide insights on areas of expertise and ensure
  • Possess excellent communication & teaching skills and a good understanding of the solution architecture and products; serve as trusted ambassador for ADP 


  • Bachelor's degree with business and / or technology focus or relevant experience in related field
  • Extensive experience in marketing position/field sales management experience in wide geographic area (minimum 10 to 15 years of experience)
  • Ideally self-grown in ADP: BC è Expert è Domain Specialist or from Product Marketing/Product Leader
  • Experience in field sales, technology products and processes, knowledge of BPO
  • Add'l languages beyond English & local language
  • Work experience at key competitor
