Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple's advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.

As a Front End Developer, you will craft rich, interactive user experiences for Apple.com. This includes building Apple-quality user experiences and collaborating on data formats and APIs with partner teams internally.

In this role, you will towards achieving and contributing to the architectural strategy for front-end technologies-including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript-as well as evangelizing that technology across the team and Apple as a whole. Key Qualifications

4+ years of professional software development experience with front end web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, etc.). A portfolio or work samples with application is a significant plus
You understand fundamental visual and interactive design discipline.
You strive to use web standards to build solutions using semantic markup and CSS.
You have an understanding of major browsers and the special considerations required for each.
You are a proficient JavaScript programmer who doesn't need to rely on libraries to accomplish innovative interactions.
You are aware of the interplay between JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and can dynamically build, modify, and style elements on a page with ease.
You understand Node build systems, CommonJS, and Sass.
Experience creating custom tooling to support the development and review process.
Experience with WebGL is a plus

Description
- Collaborates with the team and works independently on development efforts for large-scale web-based projects, ensuring robust and lasting solutions are implemented.
- Awareness of Apple's mobile platform with the ability to build solutions that take advantage of the latest iOS features while remaining performant on the latest iOS devices.
- Maintains existing JavaScript libraries and ensures they support the engineering and creative needs of Apple.com.
- Stays educated on the latest in software development standard methodologies and new technologies, especially HTML5 and CSS3, and continually works to innovate and build new web experiences

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
