If you're ready to be a part of this journey, then we want to hear from you.  Design Automation Engineers are advocates of applying design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality.

In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, it will include but not limited to:

  • Developing and testing Engineering Design Automation tools, create flows/scripts to analyze and test design methodologies.
  • Specifying materials, equipment, and supplies required for completion of projects.
  • Evaluating vendor practical capabilities to provide required products or services.
  • Designing, deploying, and testing efficiency of tools to utilize in achieving design goals and collaborating with design teams on methodology development


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related field of study
  • 6+ years of overall work related experience
  • Experience with Linux and RTL design process, Back End UPF, and power
  • Experience with automation of methodologies/solutions using TCL, Python, PERL
  • Experience with RTL Front End/Back End domains
  • Experience working on complex ASIC projects

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or in a related field of study
  • EDA Tool Knowledge (desirable): Spyglass, VCS-MX, VC-LP, Questa, NCSIM, Fusion Compiler, Synthesis flows
  • Design Language (one or more): System Verilog, VHDL, UPF, IP-XACT

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
