Design Automation Engineers are advocates of applying design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality.
In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, it will include but not limited to:
- Developing and testing Engineering Design Automation tools, create flows/scripts to analyze and test design methodologies
- Specifying materials, equipment, and supplies required for completion of projects
- Evaluating vendor practical capabilities to provide required products or services
- Designing, deploying, and testing efficiency of tools to utilize in achieving design goals and collaborating with design teams on methodology development
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related field of study
- 6+ years of overall work related experience
- Experience with Linux and RTL design process, Specman, Verification and power
- Experience with automation of methodologies/solutions using TCL, Python, PERL
- Experience with RTL Front End and simulation
- Experience working on complex ASIC projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or in a related field of study
- EDA Tool Knowledge (desirable): Spyglass, VCS-MX, VC-LP, Questa, NCSIM, Verdi, Zebu, Veloce
- Design Language (one or more): System Verilog, VHDL, UPF, IP-XACT, UVM

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
