Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, Media, Compute, and Display) hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We are looking for GPU HW Performance Verification Engineers to join our team. In this position, you will work on RTL simulation and emulation models, execute synthetic and real-world workloads and analyze performance results, debug performance failures and work with designers and architects to resolve them.
In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities:
Performance verification of Intel graphics cores, focusing on 3D, Compute and Memory Fabric
You will ensure platform and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components
Develop test plans, tests and verifying the design meets the performance specifications

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Skills and Experience;
You must have Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience or a Masters degree in the same fields with 3+ months of educational or industry experience.
Your experience should be in the following areas:
Pre-Si verification
Logic Design and Architecture
Design simulator, functional coverage concepts and implementation, test development, execution, and debug
UNIX and Windows OS
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Well versed in using simulator tools for debug
Experience with Graphics IP architectures, Performance Verification
Experience with the use of performance verification capabilities/tools
Experience in using emulators/FPGA to do pre-silicon validation
Working knowledge of SV assertions, Coverage Point coding
Experience with Scripting (Python, Ruby, PERL)
Knowledge of Pre-Si emulation flows, working with FSDB files, etc.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
