Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join the Graphics Performance Architecture and Modeling Teams in multiple capacities. Be a part of the Intel's GPU IP Architecture Team and be at the center of defining future integrated and discrete GPU IP for use in Client and Datacenter markets. You will play a key role in helping develop innovative features for our next generation architecture to deliver industry leading performance on key Graphics and Compute Applications; and contribute to feature modeling and performance studies on Architecture Simulators required for development of our next generation graphics IP.

Some key responsibilities may include:

• Work with a team to define, implement, and validate high-level functional and performance models for Intel GPU IP
• Work closely with IP and Software Architects to explore, and productize new hardware and software features for next generation GPUs
• Enable 3d and Compute workloads on architecture simulators
• Engage with SW & HW teams to drive TR closure, get execution commits on features required to meet IP Performance Targets, and support PnP Attainment during pre-silicon and post-silicon execution

Engage with users and drive adoption of the Arch Perf simulator by meeting their usage models

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in CS, EE, or equivalent
• BS or MS with 5+ years of experience, or PhD with 3+ years of experience in GPU architecture and simulator development, both functional and cycle approximate performance models
• Understanding of GPU micro architecture
• Strong graphics and compute application performance analysis and modeling skills

Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:

• Good knowledge of graphics and compute APIs (OpenCL, DX, Vulkan, etc.)
• Experience with architectural exploration for hardware features
• Creative thinking and effective communication in a global team environment
• Familiarity with performance analysis and debug/correlation on emulation and silicon

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$171,710.00-$274,890.00
