Then our Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) team has an opportunity for you. In the GTCHE team we are passionate about delivering best-in-class visual experiences that enable users to immerse themselves in a new visual future. We are looking for a motivated GPU Power Architect to continue improving the energy efficiency of our Xe* GPUs. As a member of Power Micro-architecture team, you will be prototyping low-power solutions for various design blocks, such as computer arithmetic and data transfer protocols. You will be collaborating with 3D and compute workload analysts, architects, RTL and physical design teams, and software teams to analyze and implement low-power solutions for next generation Intel GPU products.
You will be responsible of the following:
- Analyze 3D and Compute workloads bottlenecks for product use cases to improve energy efficiency. Optimize and drive system level HW/SW policies to improve performance/watt
- Create low-power architectural feature prototyping in Verilog and analyze pre-silicon power to explore low-power solutions for key design blocks of GPU
- Perform block and chip-level power analysis and drive power efficiency through hardware and software optimization
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, such as architecture, designs, firmware, and drivers for evaluating and improving power efficiency of various implementation options

Qualifications
Minimum skills and experience:
Must have a Bachelors with in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience. Or a Masters in the same fields with 4+ years of experience.
Your experience must be in the following:
- Low-power logic design techniques and micro-architecture
- RTL development using Verilog or SystemVerilog and micro-architectural definition for design blocks of CPU/GPU
- 3D and Compute workloads and device drivers and their interaction with HW
- Python and C++
Preferred skills and experience:
- GPU architectures and 3D WL Analysis for power/performance.
- Team management in the capacity of technical lead Super PLUS.
