In ASCE team we are passionate about delivering best-in-class visual experiences that enable users to immerse themselves in a new visual future.

The Software team within the ASCE is chartered to enable customers for Intel's discrete graphics products. We provide technical support to our partners by debugging and replicating issues, creating collaterals, and provide customer technical training.

We are looking for a GPU Software Application Engineer to join the team. In this position you will have responsibility for one, or more of the areas below: 

• Assist in providing technical support for one, or multiple product(s) and/or product family

• Participate in new product development, representing the customers technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, developing and presenting technical product training materials

• Work with the Sales team to help resolve customers technical questions, participates in customers visits, and presentations

• Own the creation and maintenance of data sheets and application notes.

• Act in role of the Technical Expert, Consultant, Analyst, and Program Manager, as needed for the Customer and respond to the Customer requests or events, as they occur

• Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

A Bachelor 's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science or directly related filed with 3+ years of industry experience in one, or more, of the following areas: 

• Linux and Windows Operating systems

• System configuration, testing, and benchmarking

Preferred Experience:

• Masters degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science or directly related filed

• Experience reading and creating technical specifications

• Fundamental understanding of Intel Architecture Processors and Chipsets

• In-depth understanding of communications platforms software/hardware architecture

• Design experience or working knowledge of Intel Architecture systems, chip sets, or processors

• Knowledge of encoders including SVT-HEVC, SVT-AV1

• Knowledge of media pipelines including Open Visual Cloud, FFPMPeg, Tensor Flow

$85,420.00-$136,400.00
