We're looking for a GPU Software Development Engineer! In this role, you're responsibilities will develop and/or validate software that enables Intel GPUs. The primary scope for the position is development of the compilers and software emulators, performance analysis and optimizations, enabling new GPU architectures and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate excellent communication skills who work with multi-national teams.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
You must have a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or a Masters degree with 3+ years of experience. Your degree should be in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any related field and your experience and proficiency, should be related to software development using C/C++ programming language, software development tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic compiler architecture, compilation phases, code optimizations.
- Experience in understanding relevant hardware specifications and applying that knowledge to design/develop/debug/validate software development tools.
- Experience in C/C++, Linux and Windows OS Internals and Data structures.
- Experience in GPU programming with OpenCL, SYCL, C for Metal, LevelZero runtime.
- Experience in using software development infrastructure github, jira, cmake, scripting languages.
- Strong debug and problem-solving skills on versatile SW stack.
- Experience working with Pre-silicon environment would be plus.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
