If you are passionate about computer graphics and working with leading graphics engineers on Intel's latest GPU/CPU architecture, then our Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics(AXG) team has opportunities for you. As part of AXG team we are passionate about delivering best-in-class visual experiences that enable users to immerse themselves in a new visual future. AXG is responsible for delivering GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering.

We are looking for a Graphics Hardware Engineer to join our team. We focus on innovative Display technologies that is industry leading and you will be working on next generation architecture for Display.

 

In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Architecture team and develop HW architecture specification, validation strategy and test plans.

  • Responsible for E2E verification of complex/mega features including collaboration with cross org/site teams from Architecture, Design, Verification, and software teams.

  • Learn from past programs escapes and address verification gaps to improve IP quality.

  • Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the IP performance.

Qualifications

Educational experience listed below would be obtained through relevant schoolwork, internships, jobs and/or research experience.


Minimum Skills and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience. Or have a master's degree in same field with 6+ months of educational or industry experience.

Your experience should be in the following areas:

  • Hardware Architecture definition, RTL design, logic design or timing convergence.

  • Verilog/ System Verilog

  • Programming / scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell scripting automation methods.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with ASIC design flow, timing constraints

  • Knowledge of architecture specification

  • Experience in power optimization of logic design components

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
