The Xe Architecture and IP Engineering team is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, Media, Compute, and Display) hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and do not let any organizational boundary get in the way of solving problems. We are looking for a Graphics Modelling Engineer to join us in our quest.

In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing multiple aspects of graphics software, display driver development and simulation environment development.
• Works with various partners to enhance and improve graphics performance on upcoming processor graphics devices by analyzing performance issues in software drivers and applications, implementing software performance improvements, and recommending future hardware and software improvements.
• Providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics features in yet to be released OSes to ensure our hardware and software will function and perform as expected on next generation platforms as well as designing/developing/implementing graphics system level software for future platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:

Bachelor degree Computer Science, Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Engineering  or related filed with 3+ years of experience. OR a Master's in the same fields:

Your experience should be in the following:

• Software design
• Programming in C++ development

Preferred skills and experience that will get you notice:

• Graphics experience
• Software Validation/verification
• Experience optimizing SW for performance
• HW modeling experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$84,060.00-$126,320.00
