Develops and/or validates software that enables Intel GPUs. Scope can spans the entire stack, from firmware and device drivers through APIs and the application layer, and may also include the tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

A candidate must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years experience in or: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years experience in:

• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux/Android OS, Chrome OS architectures

• Deep understanding of CPU and GPU hardware architecture

• Deep understanding of graphics hardware and software design.

• Understanding of industry standard API's and frameworks such as DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, surface flinger, HWC and Display Interface like DP, HDMI, MIPI, etc.

• Strong knowledge of software development is critical, C, C++ and/or Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center experience in terms of platforms, scale out and orchestration and E2E solution

• Demonstrated software and silicon debug knowledge

• Knowledge of PnP (Power and Performance), Silicon Design, and Open source Environmental Operations

• Knowledge of AI and AI at scale

• Understanding of Linux KMD (i915), Media and Compute stack

• Virtualization (Software VTd, Hardware: SRIOV)

• Expertise in Deep Learning Frameworks: Tensorflow, Pytorch
