WHO WE ARE
The
Open Source Graphics Center is responsible for developing Linux
drivers and technology for Intel's Graphics/Compute products. We
commit quality code to drive open source software reliability,
accessibility, security, power efficiency and performance. This is

WHAT YOU WILL
DO
You will use your technical leadership skills to dive
deep into Intel's Linux GPU SW stack collaborating with architects,
senior technical leaders on design, development, implementation and
testing of products. Contribute toward the release of
industry-leading features for Intel's integrated and discrete
graphics/compute products. You will have the opportunity to work
directly with open source communities and across business units
within Intel. Perform design, development, validation,
documentation, and power and performance
analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
- C/C++ programming
skills
- Working experience developing system software
for Linux OS
- A completed Bachelor's degree in
Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge in the software engineering development
lifecycle process
- Debugging and system integration
skills
- Minimum of 3+ years' industry
experience working in large scale software product development
teams and projects
Preferred Qualifications:
(Having one or more of the following qualifications is
preferred)
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in
Software Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or
Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Understanding of
Linux Operating system architecture and device driver model
- Familiarity with Linux kernel open source contributions and
practices
- Familiarity with Linux DRM subsystem and
graphics/compute SW stack
- Deep understanding of
Graphics subsystem and Linux graphics components

Familiarity with 3D driver development, Vulkan/OpenGL APIs, and
contributing to open source Mesa 3D project
-
Familiarity with pre-silicon simulation and emulation
platforms
- Experience with HPC, AI and/or ML software
Developing scalable MPI applications
- Familiarity with
developing runtimes for GPUs
- Experience with Linux
power management flows and/or power saving hardware
technologies
- Experience as a Linux System Architect,
building prototypes and performing research for new features and
technologies
- Experience architecting overall
end-to-end Linux solutions
- A willingness to work in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations

Annual Salary
Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado:
$148,930.00-$238,410.00
