The Game Developer Analyzers (GPA) team within the Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software (IAGS) is hiring for a graphics software engineer who can deliver core components as a technical contributor and can also demonstrate technical leadership as a part of the highly skilled and collaborative project team. This position is ideal for a motivated and talented individual with a keen interest in performance profiling and 3D graphics in the gaming industry, and who is willing to grow a market-leading tool suite beyond the current feature set. The ideal candidate is an energetic software developer with experience in Graphics and Gaming toolsets. The GPA team is supporting and extending a high-profile tool suite for optimizing graphics workloads used in the game industry. GPA team offers a fun, exciting, and challenging job that provides a great opportunity to learn, grow and excel in the field of graphics tools. We are delivering killer tools for tuning Games on Intel's latest graphics silicon.
The GPA team will be expanding our tool suite to cover new graphics hardware and new graphics APIs. We are actively looking for the experienced software developer with a skill base rooted in C++.
The candidate will work to develop, maintain and validate core software components for the Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers tool suite on a variety of Intel-powered devices and operating systems. Suitable candidates should have a passion for developing and validating high-quality code using industry-proven techniques such as pair programming, test-driven development, and continuous integration. The ability to work directly with peers to design, write, review, and influence implementation and test code are necessary.
An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:
- Strong oral and written communication skills and clarity in technical communications
- Strong attention to detail when writing code, running tests, and filling defects
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors with 4+ years or Masters with 3+ years in Computer Science or computer engineering or electrical engineering or software engineering or other related discipline
- 5+ years of C++ experience with exposure to writing Cross-Platform Code
- 3+ years of experience with the following technical skills:
- Solid knowledge in the areas of 3D graphics techniques and the 3D graphics pipeline
- Solid understanding of 3D graphics APIs such as Vulkan, DirectX, OpenGL, or Metal.
This position is not eligible for an Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing apps with at least 1 Graphics API preferably Vulkan or DirectX 12
- Experience Developing 3D games / Games industry experience
- Ability to lead technical projects
- Experience shipping production software in a Scrum/Kanban Team- Multi-geo and cross-cultural communication experience

$113,500.00-$170,120.00
