With data on nearly 20% of the private US workforce, ADP is uniquely positioned to be the authoritative source on the world of work.

This role will be responsible for strategic partnership development including identification, negotiation and technical enablement of new partners for ADP Data Solutions. This person will spend considerable time evaluating ideal partners based on ADP strategy, identifying opportunities to integrate ADP data with partners data and negotiating contracts. This role will also support strategic initiatives for the Data Solutions. This person will work diligently across ADP internal functions such as legal, security, finance, sales, product management, and product development to ensure partnerships are set up for success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 

  • Identify, research and develop new partner lists to expand the ADP Data Solutions and add product offerings.
  • Lead negotiations on all terms and final agreements, including commercial terms, security reviews and integration requirements.
  • Continually evaluate categories in which additional partners are needed, through industry assessments and close coordination with business leaders across ADP.
  • Display extreme ownership across every workstream while moving projects / program forward
  • Passion to help start and scale new businesses – "whatever it takes" attitude
  • Strong communications skills – you will be in front of partners and executives all the time
  • Problem solver and strategic individual who is comfortable using frameworks and data to help structure the team’s thinking and solve complex problems.

 

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO THRIVE:

 

  • Negotiating - helps convince target organizations to partner with ADP. Negotiates all deal terms.
  • Strategic thinking – thinks strategically about partnership opportunities and overall strategic direction of the organization.
  • Creative Problem Solving - finds win-win opportunities for ADP and potential partners.
  • Communication & Presentation - has strong written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Collaboration/Teamwork - works effectively with others, both internally and externally to achieve goals.
  • Initiative - proactively seeks out new revenue/partnership opportunities and new approaches to optimizing business opportunities.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development and alliance development.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience within a data company.
  • Strong preference for expertise in auto lending, consumer lending, mortgages, consumer banking, small business loans and other finance activities intersecting with payroll data.
  • MBA preferred.
