SAP Customer Experience Marketing is looking for a strong, creative and experienced leader to head the Global Digital and Field Marketing program for the SAP Customer Experience business.  The Global Digital and Field Marketing is the central function responsible for creating and executing global and regional campaigns to drive worldwide pipeline and revenue.  The Global Digital and Field Marketing role is responsible for managing all points of customer engagement across the customer lifecycle, from point of initial customer acquisition through ongoing community engagement to drive customer loyalty, advocacy, and solution cross-sell and upsell opportunities. 

The experienced leader in this role, will have strategic oversight for the entire demand funnel and customer lifecycle.   This role will work closely with key stakeholders in the SAP Customer Experience COE team and SAP Global Demand center.


  • Partners with SAP Customer Experience General Managers and SAP Customer Experience Product Marketing to define strategy, messaging, and plan of execution for worldwide digital campaigns to drive in-bound leadflow to meet quarterly lead, opportunity, and pipeline targets for each region and line-of-business
  • Sets the strategic visions on all aspects of SAP Customer Experience digital strategy, including creative, measurement and analytics, reporting, and testing and optimization.  Responsible for coordinating with and leveraging SAP Global Demand Center infrastructure and to accelerate digital initiatives
  • Partners with SAP Customer Experience COE and Regional Sales leadership to train, enable, and optimize velocity and conversion of leads from global digital campaigns from qualification by SAP Business Development Reps (BDRs) to acceptance by the SAP Customer Experience field organization
  • Partners with SAP Customer Experience Product Marketing and SAP Customer Experience Sales to identify and execute programs to accelerate accepted opportunities through to successful close.  Programs include, but are not limited to, executive engagement, customer references, VIP and community events
  • Owns end-to-end customer lifecycle and demand model.  Responsible for budgeting, planning, and optimizing spend against industry benchmarks.  Responsible for driving cross-functional execution against identified requirements to increase conversion rates and velocity of opportunities as they flow through the sales and marketing funnel
  • Partners with SAP Customer Experience COE and Sales leadership to identify specific target accounts, industries, partners, and solutions to create regional-specific quarterly marketing plans
  • Responsible for creating and supporting regional-specific Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, partner campaigns, and local brand awareness and PR activities
  • Responsible for building and managing worldwide customer community, including regular program of community engagement through digital and physical events
  • Responsible for coordinating with SAP Customer Experience General Managers and Product Marketing for executing targeting installed base marketing programs to support product launches, migrations, cross-sell and upsell


  • Progressive leader with deep level, cross-marketing experience across field marketing, digital marketing, inside sales, customer marketing, and PR
  • Prior experience managing global organization, including managing teams in APJ (including China, Southeast Asia, India, Japan, and Australia), EMEA (including all EU countries, plus the Middle East), and the Americas (including all regions of Latin America)
  • Prior experience managing multiple business units and supporting joint plans between individual business unit GMs and regional sales leaders
  • Prior experience in a public company a positive   
  • Self- starting, high energy, charismatic leader with an outstanding track record of leadership, strategy, and successful execution
  • Proven innovation in digital strategy and execution.
  • Deep domain expertise in enterprise infrastructure software, land-and-expand sales plays, and the Customer Experience market
  • Deep expertise in harnessing the power of analytics and research to better inform strategic solutions
  • Deep sales and partner expertise with proven examples of leadership
  • Strong executive presence
