The SPC SPV Validation Team is looking for an HPC System Software Validation Engineer to join our software development team. Our solutions are being used today to solve some of the world's most challenging scientific problems such as climate research, bio-medical research, genome analysis, renewable energy, and other areas that require the world's fastest supercomputers to tackle. Intel is delivering Exascale class systems, and we need your help to deliver next generation in HPC.

In this position, responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Design, develop, test, and modify software systems or applications that are specifically focused on Unified Control System for High Performance Computing

• Use current programming language and technologies, write code using Java, C, C++, Python, perform testing and debug applications

• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance

Behavioral Attributes Sought:

• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization from Interns to multiple senior-level technical people

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer / Electrical Engineering, Computational Science or related STEM discipline, along with 3+ years of related software development experience in one, or more, of the following areas:

• Software development in the areas of enterprise, cloud and/or HPC

• Linux sub-systems, basics of kernel and internals

• Programming with a variety of languages, preferably Java, C, C++, Python

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer / Electrical Engineering, Computational Science or related STEM discipline

• RESTful program interface

• Parallel programming model

• SDLC and industry-standard SW design principles

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

• Distributed Systems, Network Infrastructure and Storage

• Container Technologies knowledge

• Message queue systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ and ZeroMQ)

• Cloud or HPC with Security

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$84,060.00-$126,320.00
