Key Qualifications

  • Strong background in human performance modeling and human factors research.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and interpretation of results (Python, R preferred).
  • Experienced with user studies and human data collection.
  • Understanding of user interface usability principals.
  • Great written and verbal skills.
  • A love of the scientific method.

Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, aspiring Human Factors engineer to join our team. You will be engaging in a collaborative, exciting, and very dynamic environment to help Apple develop the next best thing.

This Human Factors internship position will empower you to develop and refine skills in human performance modeling, as well as being part of the team that is designing and executing well-developed human-subject experiments. You will need a strong voice and the willingness to jump in with great ideas to support large-scale efforts in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

To succeed in this role, you'll need an active, developing knowledge of human factors research and an understanding of experimental design, survey design, and other human-centered data collection methods. Additionally, it will be very helpful to have data science skills for analysis (Python, R preferred).

Education & Experience

Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelors, Masters or PhD) in Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Engineering or Systems Engineering or related field required.
