Job Description

As part of Architecture Power and Performance Lab we own and perform platform, CPU core/UnCore and associated workload characterization.

  • In this Role you will be responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment.

  • You will conduct engineering tests and detailed power related experiments to collect and benchmark platform, including power, performance, security and responsiveness.

  • May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

  • Assignments are semi routine in nature.

  • Work performed within generally defined parameters.

  • Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.

  • This role will typically be under the guidance of PnP engineers to influence Intel platform roadmaps.


Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Basic education in Computer/Electronic Technology with 10 years experience in PCB design, Power and Performance measurement and characterization of Mobile, Desktop and Server systems.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Willing to read Electrical Circuits and Hands on experience with Soldering and Modifying Electronic Circuits.

  • Willing to setup hardware systems for detailed power characterization.

  • Willing to effectively work with engineering teams and delivering timely and quality results.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post Silicon Power Measurements, DAQ setup, Data collection and Analysis.

  • Lab Maintenance and Management.
