Intel's
investments in cutting-edge packaging technology are driving the
need for additional talent in Wafer Assembly Technology Development
(WATD) in Oregon. WATD is seeking an experienced Industrial
Engineer to join our growing Facilities Infrastructure team on the
Ronler Acres campus. This position is focused on managing tool
equipment forecasts, procurement, equipment reuse, and priority
alignment for supplier escalation. In addition, this position will
play a key role in establish methods for optimizing the factory and
ordering support equipment needed for the startup of the
disaggregated die development lines. This position is ideal for
someone who enjoys multiple facets of Industrial Engineering and
project management.
This Industrial Engineering
position will be responsible for, but not limited
to:
- Managing capital equipment forecasting, procurements, and inventory
- Collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify equipment requirements needed to meet new product intercepts and ramps
- Procuring support equipment, working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify focus areas as production volume grows
- Planning and coordination of production facilities and equipment layouts to determine the most efficient use of space and sequence of operations
- Driving program solutions across area teams of layout, tactical capacity, supply chain, finance, process engineering, factory management, automation, construction, and Industrial Engineering peers at other Intel locations.
- Delivering solutions and proposals to the Department and Area Managers of the organization

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience supporting a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience with facility layout planning
- 1+ years of experience using supply chain or master production scheduling software

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
