Oregon Tech is seeking applications for anInstructor of Renewable Energy in the Electrical Eng. & Renewable Energy Department. This is a 9-month, full-time position located on the Oregon Tech campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Oregon Tech is apremier public polytechnic universityand is consistently ranked among the top public universities in the nation by US News & World Report.  The successful applicant is expected to include the development and teaching of both courses and laboratories in Electrical Power, Motors/Generators, and Data Acquisition Systems & Instrumentation. The successful candidate must have expertise in at least one of the following areas related to renewable energy: Geothermal Energy, Electric Vehicle (EV) systems, Energy Storage, Wind Energy, and/or Hydroelectric Power. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the department, such as advising and directing student projects, and participating in program development.

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline,


  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering AND at least three years of relevant industry experience.


  • Professional Engineering licensure.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Track record or evidence of academic potential.
