The Integrated Lithography Engineering Manager role is responsible for managing an organization consisting of Group Leaders, Engineers, and Technicians working on leading edge technology development and manufacturing. It includes leading development within the organization, interaction with suppliers, technical direction and working closely with development and pathfinding programs. This role requires building strong working relationships with engineering managers and program managers to deliver technologies with world class safety, quality, output, and cost performance. As a manager, this includes setting priorities for the team, driving results across boundaries, ensuring an inclusive work environment, developing employees, and managing performance.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create and deliver future process capability to enable Moore's law scaling specifically in the areas of lithography/patterning.

  • Work collaboratively across organizations to ensure that modules meet all process requirements and manufacturability for future product needs.

  • Plan and provide resources for and direct activities in the engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost.

  • Deliver on daily operations and output.

  • Consistent performance and continuous improvement of process modules to meet production commitments and, ultimately, fund the technology development functions.

  • Define and lead fab patterning process development.

  • Evaluate new process and product needs to leverage existing tooling and capabilities where possible.

  • Provide guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.

  • Plan and schedule daily tasks.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or engineering discipline related to semiconductor manufacturing.

  • 5+ years as first level manager experience in managing teams comprised of new and senior engineers and/or technicians.

  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry in process engineering and/or integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a Technology Development environment, collaboratively working with a broad set of stakeholders, coming up with new technology solutions and setting technology directions.

  • 2+ years second level manager or experience as a factory staff member.

-3+ years of experience in any of the following:

  • Lithography, patterning, etch, metrology, design rule definition, optical proximity correction, reticle enhancement technology and/or design-test co-optimization.

  • Working in roles that require both daily tactical consistency as well as long term strategy definition and roadmap execution.

  • Demonstrated skills in building a vibrant and inclusive organizational culture.

  • Leading technical organizations as a manager of technical managers.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
