This position will be part of a small power and performance modeling team working directly with an Intel Federal customer to investigate potential architectures for a new program. The job will require both the development of performance models and the use and refinement of customer models. Regular updates will need to be provided to the customer, and interim and final reports delivered. This role requires working with the customer to find effective methods of collaboration, and effectively responding to issues raised. Work with the design and software teams will also be involved.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Qualifications
Must
have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, or directly fields with 10+ years of industry
experience OR a Master's in the same
field with 7+ years of educational or the equivalent years
industry experience. Must also have 7+ experience in
performance and/or power modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing performance models to investigate potential architectural solutions.
- Experience working with customers to develop effective collaboration models.
- Experience working with customer-developed performance and functional models.
- Familiarity with pre-silicon functional validation.
- Prior experience with Intel Federal custom silicon programs greatly preferred.
This position involves work on US Government Contracts and/or proposals for US Government Contracts that limit participation to US Citizens. A person may be required to provide proof of US Citizenship in order to comply with US government requirements. Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
